Conference Socials & Networking Events

(1) IEEE NAP-2021 Conference General Chairs’ Welcome Reception. The Welcome Reception will be organized for all registered participants on Sunday, 7:30PM-9PM in the FoodHub restaurant of the conference hotel.

(2) “Meet the Experts” round table on Monday afternoon. An engaging Q&A session with some of our VIP attendees to discuss how to advance your professional goals and succeed in today’s competitive world, “do” and “don’t” in the first steps of a scientific career, how to secure a good postdoc position, to develop an innovative idea or achieve international recognition, etc. Everyone is invited, and all questions will be answered!

(3) IEEE Young Professionals & Students social & networking event on Tuesday. YP and student attendees, both IEEE members and non-members, are invited to a get-together at a local pub to mingle with their colleagues from different parts of the world. Join us for a fun evening and make new connections!

(4) “IEEE Women in Science & Engineering” networking event on Wednesday where successful women with inspiring careers will share their experience and discuss the issues that tend to challenge women in the science and engineering workplace! Light refreshment will be served to all who joins this event.

(5) Reserve your Wednesday evening and bring a good appetite to a Conference Dinner with a plethora of tasty Ukrainian and international dishes and enjoy a post-dinner music and entertainment program.

(6) Vast choice of guided city tours throughout the week: dress-up explore the beauty and majesty of the Odesa National Opera & Ballet Theater, or gear-up and visit Odesa’s underground museum and catacombs to learn the secrets of the city’s past; get a romantic feel of the night city by walking along the streets and boulevards lit with millions of gently ﬂickering lights (Night Odesa) or take a boat trip and enjoy a refreshing sea breeze and a panoramic view of the city.

(7) Want to do something you have never done at any scientific conference? Join us for one of two yoga sessions on the beach (!): early morning before the conference starts, or relax and free the mind after a long working day (subject to weather conditions).
