IEEE
The IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) is a multi-disciplinary group whose purpose is to advance and coordinate work in the field of Nanotechnology carried out throughout the IEEE in scientific, literary and educational areas. The Council supports the theory, design, and development of nanotechnology and its scientific, engineering, and industrial applications.
The IEEE Magnetics Society is the premier organization for professionals in magnetics research and technology worldwide. We are interested In all matters involved in the fundamental development, design, and application of magnetic devices, including magnetic phenomena and magnetic materials.
IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
IEEE has:
- More than 417,000 members in more than 160 countries, more than 50 percent of whom are from outside the United States. IEEE members are engineers, scientists, and allied professionals whose technical interests are rooted in electrical and computer sciences, engineering, and related disciplines.
- More than 120,000 Student members
