1. Prof. Nahum Travitzky, AM Group Leader, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg
Nahum Travitzky earned his Dr.-Sci. in Materials Engineering at Technion, Israel. Since 2002 he leads the Advanced Ceramic Processing and Additive Manufacturing Group at the Dept. of Materials Science, Glass and Ceramics, FAU, Germany. Prof. Travitzky’s research activities pertain to design, advanced processing and characterization of ceramic-based materials.
2. Prof. Eric MacDonald, Ph.D., Prof. at Youngstown State University
Eric MacDonald, Ph.D. is a professor of electrical and computer engineering – with a joint appointment in manufacturing program and is the Friedman Chair for Manufacturing at Youngstown State University. Deputy Editor of Additive Manufacturing journal. His research interests include 3D printed multi-functional applications and closed-loop control in additive manufacturing with instrumentation and computer vision for improved quality and yield. Recent projects include 3D printing of structures such as nanosatellites with structurally-embedded electronics.
3. Dr. Jaim Nulman, CTO & EVP of Products in Nano Dimension
Dr. Nulman is a proven influencer and innovator with more than 30 years of expertise in working with companies from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. He served as Vice President of Applied Materials, where he spent 15 years in several product division and corporate positions. He drove the successful commercialization of one of Applied Materials' semiconductor manufacturing products with impressive market penetration of $1 billion in less than five years.
4. Dr. Ilya Okulov, Assoc. Prof. Dr.-Ing.
Assoc. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ilya Okulov is currently senior scientist at the University of Bremen and Leibniz Institute for Materials Engineering IWT as well as associate professor at the Ural Federal University. The research interests of Dr. Okulov cover design of porous materials by liquid metal dealloying and design of functional materials (e.g. permanent magnets) by additive manufacturing.
